   If you enjoy fun, quick safe reads then this one is for you. Axel and Roxie have always had feelings for each other, but both of them don't want to say anything for the sake of their long friendship. Axel is a boxer for a living and at every fight he always sees Roxie cheering for him. He's a tough guy but with Roxie it's he's sweet and possessive and he would do anything to keep any guy away from Roxie because he is ready to just tell her how he feels even at the risk of losing her as a friend. Roxie however is also ready to just give in and confess her feelings for Axel.
 
Friends to lovers books can sometimes be difficult because you have a lot to lose if the other person doesn't return your feelings, so I like that this book is quick and to the point. The plot is well written and the characters are great as friends and lovers. They both have great personalities, with that said I like the possessive and protective streak of Axel as it undeniably shows how much he cares for Roxie. Also the fact that he brushes of any advances from the women around is very nice as it shows that he truly only cares about Roxie and it's only her for him.
   Jenika's Real Man series is definitely always going to be one of my favorites because I enjoy books that are quick but also include possessive one woman heroes . When these heroes fall for the heroine they fall hard and nothing can stop them from getting the one they love.
